Audience Feedback
For my audience feedback I used all of the social platforms that I had available to me. The main two being twitter and facebook. I have chosen these because this is the main place that people are paying attention to from my age range. I have done this because I want to get a wide range of feedback from different age groups and I thought this would be the best place for me to do so. I have also uploaded my video onto Tumblr, I have done this because on this website I don't know all of the people who follow me so it would be good if I got feedback from them, because they then won't be biased.
Megazine Advertisement
The programme that I have decided to use for my magazine advertisement is Microsoft Publisher. I have used this because you can find templates and possible inspiration for magazine advertisements. For my magazine advertisement I used a black document. I first thing I did was changed the colour of my background, I changed it to a grey colour, I chose this because of the images that I will be using for my magazine advertisement. Because the magazine advertisement is based on the digipak, I decided that I would use the same images that I have used for my digipak for my magazine advertisement.
As you can see, I have used the main image that I used for my digipak, but I have cut it up and merged it into different sections. Through the editing process of my magazine advertisement I have decided that I will be changed the previous colour scheme that I had decided on. I have decided this because in the previous colour scheme the red of my lips is quite a bright, whereas through the editing process I feel that are more of a deep red, so I will be changing this colour scheme. I have also decided to add grey to the colour scheme because of the colour of the back ground that I have decided on.

I have also decided to add grey to the colour scheme because of the colour of the back ground that I have decided on.
Once I had done this I began to add the font to my magazine advertisement. I tried to keep the text on my magazine advertisement as minimal as possible and stuck to the colour scheme that I had chosen. The way I produced my magazine advertisement was in a layer technique. I started with the plain black background, then once I had cropped my individual images on PaintShop Pro X4 I then began adding them onto the second layer of my magazine advertisement.
Once I had inserted my second layer onto my magazine advertisement and then began to try different alterations with the images to see which way would be best fitted for my magazine advertisement.
Once I had decided on which was I prefered my images I then began adding my final layers of my magazine advertisement. I started by inserting the text of the font. I began to think about what I actually want to say on my magazine advertisement. This is where I began to look back to the research that I had done on magazine advertisements and finally decided on, the groups name, the title of my music video song, a quote from a magazine, the date the album would be released and listings of other songs. I then looked on the internet and noticed that some magazine advertisements use a sort of sponsor e.g Amazon or a Blackberry barcode. So I then used these ideas also and incorporated them into my magazine advertisement.
Once I had done this, I then began to think about what font I would be using. I though it best to link both of my ancilory tasks together so that they follow the same theme so I have used the same font as I used within my digipak.
Front Cover of Digipak
I started my editing process by opening my image to PaintShop Pro X4. I then zoomed in to start the actual editing process itself. The first and main thing that I started with was the editing of the blemishes on my image. This is so that the image looked clear on my digipak.
Once I had completed the editing process on Fotoflex, I then saved the image to my computer and re-opened it back onto Paintshop Pro X4. I decided that I wanted to edit the brightness of my image, to make it look more effective.
The brightness level that I selected for my image is 25. I wanted to edit the brightness of the image to make it more clear and to make the main attributes i.e the eyes and the lips standing out more to the audience.
This is the final image that I have chosen for my digipak cover. For the back of the digipak I have chosen to use a black and grey vintage background ground with the font in white. I have chosen to do this because of having the image on the front cover of the digipak I thought it would be too much if I had too much on the back of the digipak, I will also use this pattern on the inside disc section of the digipak.
Because I am working separately on my ancillary tasks I have decided to use a different font to the one that I had previously chosen with my group. The font choice that I have looked into using is Baskerville Old, and I will be using it with the caps lock on.
To edit the blemishes on my image I clicked on the make up tool and selected blemish fixer. I then began the blemish fixing process, trying to make the skin of my image look as perfect as I could.
Because I wanted the eyes to be one of the main things to stand out on my digipak, I then used the eye drop tool to make the blue of my eyes to look more vibrant.
For the next section of my editing process I then used an online application on the website fotoflex.com. Here I began the main editing section of my digipak, I decided to use this website because I wanted to use one of the effect on here that I found interesting. To work this application I simply had to upload my image onto the website and then I was able to use all of the editing tools neccesary.
To get to the editing section of the website, I had to click the effects tab and then I selected the effect called colour splash. With this effect it converted the whole image into black and white and I was then able to select which sections of the images that I wanted to keep at their original colours.
Once I had done this, it was then time to start the selection process, for this, it offered for you to be able to edit the size of the brushes for the editing process, so that you were able to get every aspect of the colour that you required.
As you can see from the image above the eye section of the image is in colour and the rest of the section is in black and white, whilst at this process I then thought the red lips would look effecting to be in colour, this is because I thought it would go effectively with the colour scheme that I have chosen for my digipak.
As you can see I did the same process with my lip editing but I have to reduce the size of the brush because of the smallness of the area that I am selecting.Once I had completed the editing process on Fotoflex, I then saved the image to my computer and re-opened it back onto Paintshop Pro X4. I decided that I wanted to edit the brightness of my image, to make it look more effective.
The brightness level that I selected for my image is 25. I wanted to edit the brightness of the image to make it more clear and to make the main attributes i.e the eyes and the lips standing out more to the audience.
The next thing I wanted to do to the editing process of my image was to make it more sharp, I did this by selecting the sharpening tool. I wanted to do this to make the features sharper and stand out more clearly.
Once I had completed this section I then decided that I needed to crop the image, because the height of it were too long for my digipak cover. So for this I selected the crop tool available on Paintshop Pro and cut the image down to a square shape.
Because I am working separately on my ancillary tasks I have decided to use a different font to the one that I had previously chosen with my group. The font choice that I have looked into using is Baskerville Old, and I will be using it with the caps lock on.
Digipak Ideas
The idea that I think I am going to be using for my digipak is the idea of the close up of the face for the front cover. I also like the idea of the hand against the wall and would like to utilise that into my digipak somewhere.
Programmes that I will be using!
I think the main programme that I will be using for my digipak is Paintshop Pro X4, I will be using this because I like how advanced the software it.
Colour scheme
I have chosen the colours red, black and white because I feel that they go with the theme and tone that my music video puts across to the audience. I also I have also used these because I plan on using them within my actual imaging of my digipak and magazine advertisement.
